The Role

A Grandview outpatient orthopedic clinic is hiring a Physical Therapist to work with patients who need support with movement, recovery, strength, pain management, and daily function. The role is focused on orthopedic and musculoskeletal care, with patients ranging from 11 to 90 years old.

You will join a clinical team of 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants and provide treatment in a modern outpatient setting. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • 7–15 patients per day
  • Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
  • 2 Physical Therapists
  • 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
  • Patient age range: 11 to 90
  • Primary caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions

Schedule Options

Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Tuesday off each week

Monday–Friday Schedule

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Evaluating patients and identifying treatment needs
  • Creating care plans based on patient goals, diagnosis, and function
  • Providing physical therapy for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Leading patients through exercises, mobility work, strengthening, balance training, and functional activities
  • Using manual therapy and other skilled interventions when appropriate
  • Teaching home programs and safe activity changes
  • Tracking patient progress and updating treatment plans
  • Completing documentation in WebPT
  • Working with PTAs to support patient care consistency

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
  • Strong patient education, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with patients across different ages and mobility levels
