Patient Volume: 1–2 patients per hour
Salary:
New Graduate: $65K–$70K
Experienced Physical Therapist: $80K–$90K, based on years of experience

Job Summary

A full-time Physical Therapist is needed in Lee’s Summit, MO for a role focused on patient care, movement recovery, and functional improvement.

In this position, you will evaluate patients, create treatment plans, guide therapy sessions, and help people work toward clear physical goals. Patients may need support with pain, injury recovery, mobility limitations, strength building, balance, or returning to daily activities. The patient volume allows for focused sessions and a more personal treatment approach.

Core Responsibilities

  • Complete physical therapy evaluations and identify patient goals
  • Create and carry out individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy focused on strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, coordination, and functional movement
  • Use appropriate manual therapy techniques and therapeutic interventions
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and safe movement habits
  • Track progress and update plans based on patient response
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers when needed to support patient care

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Active or eligible Physical Therapist license in Missouri
  • New graduates are welcome to be considered
  • Prior clinical experience is a plus for higher salary consideration
  • Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload while maintaining quality care standards
