Pay Range:$32.40 – $45.36/hr + comprehensive benefits**

Responsibilities**

*   **Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized PT treatment plans**
*   **Provide therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, functional activities, gait training, orthotics/prosthetics training, and rehabilitation interventions**
*   **Perform assessments to determine participant abilities and treatment needs**
*   **Deliver therapies that relieve pain, restore function, and support mobility goals**

Requirements

Requirements to Apply

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting (required); emphasis in geriatrics preferred
  • Active California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of one year of PTA experience with the geriatric population (preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
