EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
JOB-RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Physician recruitment experience in a Healthcare/Insurance setting or equivalent transferable skill set.
Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred.
JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- General: Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and terminology. Strong negotiation skills, critical thinking, organizational skills, ability to manage time efficiently, and to meet specific deadlines. Computer literacy and typing skills required.
- Experience: 3+ years in Physician Recruitment, specifically within the IME, Workers' Comp, or Medicolegal space.
- Subject Matter Expertise:
- 2-5 years in healthcare recruitment, provider relations, or medical-legal services.
- CA Workers’ Comp Knowledge: Familiarity with the California DWC, the QME/AME process, and the Medical-Legal Fee Schedule
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, "cold-calling" and pitching skills; ability to speak the language of high-level medical specialists.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to use computer platforms and data to analyze network gaps and doctor fee trends.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc. required to do the job duties listed above. Long periods of sitting and computer work.
WORK FROM HOME TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Supply and support their own internet services.
Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement of all work-from-home positions.
