WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Setup, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure availability, scalability, and reliability.

Deploy and maintain essential Kubernetes core services, including ingress, secrets management, and CNI/CSI.

Design, implement, and maintain a robust Kubernetes network, ensuring secure and efficient communication between services.

Implement and enforce security best practices within Kubernetes clusters to protect critical infrastructure and applications.

Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD infrastructure to streamline the deployment.

Deploy and maintain large-scale storage and database systems to support business-critical data services.

Lead the deployment of new sites, regions, and environments from the ground up, ensuring rapid and reliable availability.

Maintain, upgrade, and enhance existing infrastructure through continuous development, monitoring, and iterative improvements.

WHAT YOU BRING:

Experience with distributed storage systems and modern distributed database solutions.

Experience of deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters at scale.

Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and deployment tools like ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform.

Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and tools (GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, etc.).

Exposure to designing and maintaining service-defined networks within Kubernetes, e.g., service meshes like Istio.

Understanding of Kubernetes security best practices (RBAC, network policies, etc.).

Proficiency in AWS and GCP cloud platforms, leveraging their services for enhanced scalability and redundancy.

Strong skills in Linux environments and shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting, with experience in Golang being a plus.
