  • Astorg is a leading European private equity firm, with a track record of consistently delivering >27% annual return on investment for over 25 years. We make investments across Europe and the US in B2B global niche-leading private companies and manage €23bn assets
  • This role is an internship in our 70-strong global investment team. You will be supporting the whole private equity investment lifecycle: deal sourcing, deal execution and portfolio monitoring
  • You will be part of either our Flagship (Astorg VIII) or Midcap investment team and will work across all three of Astorg's priority sectors (healthcare, technology, business services)
  • Start date: Availabilities in September 2026 & January 2027
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: Paris (Fridays can be remote)
  • Compensation: In line with market standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting formation of investment theses on potential acquisition targets
  • Performing research to gather information about companies of interest
  • Conducting operational and financial modelling
  • Preparing syntheses, analyses and memos to present businesses internally
  • Presenting points of view on investment opportunities

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Numerical / business degree preferred (Maths, Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Physics, etc.), with outstanding academic track record (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, X, Mines, Centrale, Ponts...)
  • Previous internship experience in M&A investment banking, Management Consulting or Private Equity is highly preferred
  • Native or fluent French speaker with fluent English mandatory. Other European languages (German, Italian) an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good communication skills and verbal reasoning
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently, and manage deadlines
  • True team player
  • Enjoys entrepreneurial environments where autonomy and initiative are encouraged
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Right to work in France
