PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Specializing in vestibular dysfunction, TMJ/jaw pain, and SIJ dysfunction for an older demographic, our approach emphasizes individualized interventions for lasting wellness.

We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Physical Therapists with patient care. Specific job responsibilities will include the following under the supervision of the Physical Therapist:

• Patient observation before, during and after therapy, noting the status and reporting it to the Physical Therapist.
• Assisting the patient with specific exercises as per the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• One or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience within a private clinic or hospital preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
• Current state of Iowa Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license, CPR certification.
