Job Summary

Traysar is looking for our first Procurement Specialist in Israel to help build and scale our procurement function from the ground up. You'll own supplier sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, procurement systems, inventory coordination, and cost optimization while partnering closely with engineering, finance, and operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced hardware startups and enjoys building processes that enable teams to move quickly and scale efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement processes, policies, and best practices.

• Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers across Israel and internationally.

• Own purchasing operations, purchase orders, and vendor relationships.

• Partner with engineering to source components, materials, and equipment.

• Support new product development by identifying and qualifying suppliers.

• Help Implement and improve procurement systems, ERP, and inventory processes.

• Track supplier performance, quality, lead times, and costs.

• Identify cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing experience in hardware, manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, defense, or a similar technical industry.

• Experience sourcing technical components and working directly with engineering teams.

• Experience negotiating supplier agreements and commercial terms.

• Strong understanding of procurement operations, inventory management, and ERP systems.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in defense, aerospace, robotics, autonomous systems, industrial equipment.

• Familiarity with import/export logistics and international purchasing.

• Experience supporting prototype development and low-volume manufacturing.

• Knowledge of supplier quality processes and vendor performance management.

• Experience working in an early-stage startup or scaling organization.

• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or PMP are a plus.
