POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Development Manager is responsible for managing the Product Development Planning (PDP) process. Collaborates with a cross functional team to monitor product development progress through the various stages. The Product Development Manager is responsible for tracking all projects and chairs PDP meetings.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Owns and manages the Product Development roadmap
- Works in close partnership with PDP stakeholders to execute project reviews and approvals cleanly and seamlessly
- Working closely with the Product configuration teams, validates configuration completion within the product configurators is accurate and reflective of model/certification year implementation determined by the PDP board
- Responsible for managing and maintaining the master project track sheet, and project Teams channels.
- Coordinates and leads all PDP board meetings, ensures that meeting agendas and minutes are distributed, manages and tracks all decisions made at the meetings
- Prepares and compiles project information for monthly ELT meeting and ensures quarterly GLT meeting information is compiled
- As a hands-on leader, reviews, tracks and ensures all meeting materials are complete prior to each phase approval meeting of a project. Communicates with project owner for all required documents
- Participates in and supports the continuous improvement and management of the process and its associated materials including training documentation
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Registered Technologist/Engineer

Design related experience - minimum of 5 years.
