About this role
About Rebar
Rebar is building the AI operating system for commercial HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing.
Over the past year, our quoting platform has processed tens of thousands of projects across North America, and we’ve doubled revenue in the first six weeks of this year. Our customers include many of the top firms in the industry—some running billion-dollar construction projects on workflows that still look like it’s 1985.
Construction represents ~10% of GDP and remains massively underserved by software. We’re changing that.
We recently raised a $14M Series A from leading construction tech investors and are entering our next phase of growth. We’re building a set of AI-native products that will define how this industry operates.
We’re hiring a Product Engineer to help build and scale a real-time, collaborative platform for the field. You’ll join a small, experienced team working on high-performance web applications that support critical workflows in a large, evolving industry.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys crafting thoughtful user experiences, working with modern engineering tools, and growing in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

Feature Development – Contribute to building and shipping product features, with a focus on user experience and interface design
Code Quality – Write clear, maintainable, and well-tested code, and help improve team standards over time
