Product Owner

Location: Flexible (London / Frankfurt)

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Owner to lead our Data Hub platform — a core part of our next-generation architecture for structured product data and distribution. This is not a traditional Product Owner role.

You will take ownership of transforming Data Hub from a set of operational workflows into a scalable, automation-first platform, powered by Agentic AI. Your mission is simple but ambitious:

Eliminate manual data operations by building intelligent, self-service, AI-driven workflows.

What You’ll Be Owning

As Product Owner, you will have end-to-end responsibility for Data Hub — including:

• Product strategy and roadmap
• Data ingestion, mapping, and distribution workflows
• Platform design and scalability
• Operational performance

You will work at the intersection of:

• Product
• Data modelling
• Engineering
• Automation and AI

What You’ll Be Driving

1. Build an AI-Native Data Platform

• Design and evolve Data Hub into an AI-first platform
• Introduce Agentic AI workflows that:
  • automatically map and transform data
  • validate and enrich inbound datasets
  • resolve common issues without human intervention

2. Eliminate Manual Operations

• Identify areas where humans are:
  • performing repeat mapping work
  • fixing data issues
  • managing client-specific workflows
• Replace these with:
  • reusable frameworks
  • intelligent automation
  • AI-driven decisioning

3. Simplify and Standardise

• Move away from:
  • fragmented, client-specific implementations
• Toward:
  • standardised product capabilities
  • configuration-driven workflows

4. Define the Future of Data Distribution

• Build a model where clients:
  • submit a single product representation
  • automatically distribute to multiple channels
• Drive:
  • clean data models
  • consistent mapping frameworks
  • scalable integration patterns

5. Lead Across Product and Engineering

• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver:
  • event-driven, modular architecture
  • highly reusable components
• Prioritise across:
  • platform build
  • client delivery
  • automation opportunities

What This Role Is NOT

This is not a role focused on:

• running service teams
• managing tickets or manual workflows
• scaling headcount to support operations

Instead, you are expected to: Design systems that make those needs disappear

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• Strong background in structured products, financial data, or data distribution
• Experience in:
  • product ownership or product management
  • data modelling and transformation workflows
  • mapping frameworks or reference data

Mindset

• Automation-first thinking
• Strong bias toward simplification and standardisation
• Comfortable operating across:
  • product
  • engineering
  • domain expertise

Nice to Have

• Experience with:
  • IBT / structured product ecosystems
  • data integration platforms
  • AI/ML or automation tooling

This is a foundational role in shaping our next-generation platform.

You are not maintaining an existing system — you are defining:

• how data platforms should operate
• how AI can be used to remove operational friction
• how products scale without increasing operational cost

You will own Data Hub as a product and evolve it into an Agentic AI–driven platform, where data ingestion, mapping, and distribution are handled through automation and intelligent workflows, not manual operations.
