As our Production Engineer, you will play a critical role in leading process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing facility. This position is focused on driving operational excellence, mitigating risks, and ensuring the flawless execution of production processes while collaborating transparently with global, cross-functional teams to meet rigorous quality and safety standards. In this role, you will influence awareness across teams regarding operational excellence, lean, safety, and digitalization/AI, while serving as a key point of contact for global engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Work Arrangement: On-site
- Lead and support process improvement projects utilizing Six Sigma principles to optimize critical parameters, increase productivity, and establish stable, repeatable manufacturing processes.
- Utilize formal problem-solving methodologies to conduct root cause analysis, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement effective, long-term solutions.
- Ensure the flawless execution of production processes while consistently meeting KPIs, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and actively conducting risk mitigation activities (e.g., FMEA, MOC).
- Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) to participate in the full equipment and process validation lifecycle (IQ, OQ & PQ), and prepare or update critical process documentation.
- Present production outputs, ensure transparent communication across cross-functional teams, and provide strategic support for new product development and capital expenditure (CapEx) recommendations.
Qualifications
- Possess a professional engineering degree, preferably in Industrial, Chemical, Mechatronics/Electrical, or a related technical discipline.
- Professional track record as an engineer within a high-paced manufacturing or production setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Lean Manufacturing frameworks and established continuous improvement project methodologies.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and a proactive interest in advancing digitalization and AI applications within the manufacturing sector.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with a specialized focus on utilizing data-driven methodologies to resolve complex technical and operational obstacles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Turkish, enabling seamless collaboration across global teams and diverse management levels.
