Programme Assistant - Botany

As a Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the afternoons unforgettable for children. You’ll be working a minimum of 5 hours per week, rostered across Monday to Friday
- Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm. Availability from 2.30pm is essential, though finish times may vary.
- Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).
Here’s what you’ll be up to
- Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities
- Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children
- Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing
- Spotting any hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager so everyone stays supported

Qualifications
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship)
- Can get to sKids Botany Downs site with reliable transportation and/or a vehicle
- Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts!
- Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special
