Project Manager/Project Engineer - Water Resources

What you'll do
• Lead and manage water resources projects including stormwater master planning, drainage design, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
• Oversee the development of watershed studies, capital improvement projects, and stormwater management solutions
• Perform and manage hydrologic and hydraulic analyses (1D/2D modeling) and drainage design
• Design and oversee stormwater management systems, erosion and sediment control plans, and NPDES permitting efforts
• Develop and review contract documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets, including proposal development and fee negotiations
• Perform and oversee FEMA Letter of Map Changes and related studies
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members
• Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget goals
What you bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Georgia preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in water resources engineering
• Strong experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and stormwater management design
• Experience with green infrastructure and low impact development practices
• Experience with erosion and sediment control design and permitting
• Proficiency in preparing construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcMap, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead client interactions
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and appropriately prioritize workflow
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to mentor staff and lead a high-performing team
• Ability to perform field work including lifting up to 25 pounds

On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
