Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with coordination, scheduling, and care of all psychiatric care-related referrals.
  • Assist with managing provider schedules; ensure efficient scheduling in accordance with provider productivity standards.
  • Provide assistance with triaging appointments based on assigned client status and conducting follow-up calls when needed
  • Answer phone calls related to pharmacy or scheduling concerns
  • Collaborate with pharmacies to ensure accurate information is provided and to resolve any issues that arise
  • Responsible for sending and collecting forms from clients as needed
  • Managing Psychiatric Care inbox by answering and following up on emails to ensure timely responses
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor
  • Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a healthcare support role
  • Previous experience using computerized appointment scheduling systems and/or electronic Medical Record systems
  • Knowledgeable in HIPAA Regulations
  • Detail-oriented and outcome-driven
  • Able to discreetly handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Accountability and integrity
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to complete work independently as well as in collaboration with team members
  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence in personal interactions
  • Good, professional communication skills - written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Word, Excel, G-Suite, and other software/applications
