Seeking a QA Manager for a rapidly growing Bangalore-based startup that is developing a developer-first, open-source API platform

Requirements

• Possess 8–12 years of experience in software quality engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in a QA leadership or management capacity.

• Extensive expertise in test automation, with practical experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks utilizing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent.

• Proficient programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or comparable languages for creating test scripts, utilities, and custom tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and effective integration of automated testing.

• Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks.

• Demonstrated capability to establish quality processes from the ground up in a dynamic, startup-like setting.

• In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to relate quality metrics to business outcomes.

• A product-oriented mindset, focusing on enhancing user experience beyond just test results.
