Job Title: RBT Trainer
Location: South Africa
Job Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)
Salary: South African Rand (ZAR)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one onboarding and training sessions with RBTs
- Train RBTs on company systems, processes, and session note requirements
- Guide therapists through software usage and workflow expectations
- Answer questions related to processes, documentation, and ABA operational procedures
- Support RBTs during onboarding and early-stage integration
- Act as a professional and supportive point of contact for therapists
- Assist in maintaining training materials, guides, and onboarding documentation
- Monitor onboarding progress and ensure completion of required training milestones
- Identify areas where additional coaching or support may be needed
- Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to improve onboarding and training processes
- Support therapist engagement, retention, and successful integration into the organization
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, onboarding progress, and therapist communications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) highly preferred
- Previous experience as an RBT, ABA Trainer, ABA Supervisor, Clinical Support Specialist, or related ABA role preferred
- Experience training, coaching, mentoring, or onboarding staff preferred
- Strong knowledge of ABA terminology, documentation requirements, and operational workflows preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with therapists and team members
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Patient, supportive, and professional approach to training and coaching
- Ability to explain processes and systems clearly to individuals with varying levels of experience
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Comfortable learning and navigating new systems and software platforms
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup
