Real Estate & Land Acquisition Manager, Data Center アクイジションマネージャー

The Real Estate Manager will support ESR Japan’s data center business and is responsible for site origination through land acquisition, as well as establishing initial conditions for permitting, power, telecommunications, and water infrastructure.

This role plays a critical part in enabling the development team to transition smoothly into execution by resolving key real estate and infrastructure risks at an early stage of data center development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of land acquisition and development experience at a real estate developer
• Proven experience sourcing, negotiating, and closing land acquisitions for commercial or industrial projects
• Experience engaging with government authorities and managing permitting-related discussions
• Strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management capability
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English (meetings and discussions)

Preferred Skills

• Experience in data center land acquisition or development
• Licensed Real Estate Transaction Agent (Takken) preferred
