As the Regional Tax Assistant Manager, you will support the Regional Tax Manager in overseeing the Group’s regional corporate tax matters across multiple markets. You will act as a trusted advisor to the business while ensuring strong tax compliance, governance, and risk management.

Your Adventure Ahead

  • Partner with external advisors and internal stakeholders on implementation and ongoing management of the Group’s transfer pricing policies.
  • Coordinating and preparing transfer pricing documentations for the Group to ensure compliance of transfer pricing regulations.
  • Advise cross-functional stakeholders (Expansion, Business Development, Operations) on potential tax implications on proposed initiatives and suggest possible solutions globally.
  • Ensure compliance on local tax requirements, including the review and/or preparation of tax returns where appropriate.
  • Identify control weaknesses and operational gaps relating to tax in existing processes and provide recommendations to mitigate any risks.
  • Monitor, manage and assist in any tax audit process and/or tax queries from tax authorities, where applicable.
  • Monitor the developments of indirect tax policies in the markets and proposed indirect tax policy changes, where applicable.
  • Essentials to Succeed

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and/or Finance, with relevant accreditation(s).
  • 4 to 7 years of relevant tax experience with Big 4 and/or In-house Commercial Tax experience.
  • Strong foundation of tax technical knowledge (direct and/or indirect taxes, or transfer pricing regulations).
  • Excellent communication, people management and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of various stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with keen attention to detail and the bigger picture.
  • Self-starter team player able to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
