NAFFCO Abu Dhabi is seeking a proactive and technically competent Sales Account Manager (Maintenance) to manage and grow maintenance service opportunities for Fire Fighting Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, and Fire & Life Safety (FLS) across our client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience with maintenance contracts (AMC), preventive maintenance projects, and a minimum of 5 years in the fire protection or building services sector. This role combines account management, technical expertise, and customer engagement to retain clients and deliver profitable service contracts.
Key Responsibilities – Account Management & Service Growth
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for maintenance contracts, service enquiries, and escalations.
Identify and qualify new service opportunities within assigned accounts through proactive engagement, site visits, and relationship-building.
Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals, service agreements, and scope of works that clearly articulate value, service levels, and costings.
Coordinate with operations, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure accurate pricing, resource planning, and timely mobilization for new and existing contracts.
Monitor contract performance, KPIs, and service reports, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Manage contract renewals, extensions, and negotiations, securing long-term commitments to support business growth.
Support bid responses and tender submissions for maintenance packages, ensuring technical and commercial compliance.
Respond promptly to client service issues, coordinating investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions with technical teams.
Maintain up-to-date client records, contract documentation, and CRM entries to support forecasting, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Represent the company at client meetings, site reviews, and industry events to promote services and gather market intelligence.
Essential Skills – Commercial, Technical & Communication
Account Management: Proven experience managing service contracts and maintenance projects with a focus on client retention and revenue growth.
Technical Knowledge: Hands-on understanding of Fire Fighting Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, FLS, HVAC, and preventive maintenance practices.
AMC Experience: Demonstrated success managing Annual Maintenance Contracts and executing long-term maintenance projects.
Commercial Acumen: Strong skills in preparing proposals, pricing services, and negotiating contract terms.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for client presentations, contract management, and internal coordination.
IT Literacy: Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems; familiarity with CMMS or mobile workforce tools is advantageous.
Problem Solving – Service Delivery & Operational Judgement
Assess client issues and service failures quickly, propose practical corrective actions, and coordinate resources to restore service levels efficiently.
Balance commercial and operational priorities when negotiating scope changes, pricing variations, or service-level adjustments.
Drive continuous improvement by analyzing service data, identifying recurring faults, and implementing preventive measures.
Manage multiple account demands and deadlines, making timely decisions and escalating appropriately to meet contractual obligations.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, HVAC, Fire Protection, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance account management, technical sales, or service delivery within fire protection, FLS, building services, or facilities management.
Proven track record in managing AMC contracts, preventive maintenance projects, and achieving revenue targets.
Knowledge of maintenance processes, preventive maintenance regimes, and relevant standards/regulations.
Willingness to travel to client sites in Abu Dhabi and participate in out-of-hours escalation if required.
Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous but not required.
