About the role:
We're looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to join our Sales team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing and exciting startup environment, then this is the job for you! You’ll be responsible for leading growth within your sales region by qualifying, managing and generating opportunities. You’ll work closely with the Account Management team and play a pivotal role in growing our business from day 1, and have the opportunity to grow with us as our company expands!
What You'll Do:

Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities in your region, keeping activity up to date in HubSpot

Engage potential customers through phone and email outreach, with a goal of ~100 outbound calls per day and an average talk time of 2 minutes 15 seconds

Understand customer challenges and clearly communicate how our solution can help

Develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers

Qualify prospects and contribute to generating ~2 Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and 1 new Opportunity per day

SQL: A qualified prospect ready to engage with Sales (confirmed need, budget, and decision-maker)

Opportunity: A Sales-accepted deal that has been added to the pipeline

Partner with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and help achieve team revenue targets
What You'll Need:

0–2 years of experience in outbound sales or customer service

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Outstanding customer service skills

Written and spoken proficiency in English (French or Spanish a plus)

Positive attitude, perseverance, and drive to meet objectives

Outgoing, adaptable, and inquisitive personality

Strong hustle and self-starter mindset, able to drive results independently and with a team
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for lead tracking and pipeline management.

Familiarity with the landscaping, horticulture, or B2B procurement industry.

Experience attending trade shows or industry events in a sales or business development capacity.
