The Satellite Warehouse Operation Specialist is responsible for overseeing the operational performance, compliance, and process consistency of multiple satellite and 3PL warehouse locations. This role includes weekly site visits, inventory audits, partner staff training, and coordination with internal teams to ensure seamless warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular (weekly) site inspections of partnership and satellite warehouses.
- Monitor operational metrics and report on warehouse performance, risks, and improvement actions.
- Provide WMS system training, SOP orientation, and operational guidance to partner warehouse teams.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable safety and logistics regulations.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to improve system functionality and warehouse process efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site and escalate major concerns to regional leadership.
- Handle partner onboarding, rate setup, and contractual compliance.
- Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
- Support customer service escalation, complaint resolution, and performance recovery visits.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 1year of warehouse management or supervisory experience.
- 1+ year experience working with 3PL or outsourced warehouse partners.
- Experience in high-volume or fast-paced logistics environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, procedures, and WMS systems.
- Excellent leadership, training, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with teams at all organizational levels.
- Mandarin speaking is a must
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% or morelocally.
Pay: $23 - $27/hr
Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus
