We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to support our assisted living community. This role is essential in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage and maintaining smooth daily operations to support high-quality resident care.

The Scheduler is responsible for creating, maintaining, and adjusting staff schedules for clinical and care teams within an assisted living environment. This role ensures proper staffing levels are met in compliance with facility needs, resident acuity, and regulatory guidelines.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and experienced in healthcare or senior living scheduling, with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain accurate staff schedules for CNAs, CMAs, LPNs, and care staff
  • Adjust staffing as needed to meet census changes, call-outs, and operational needs
  • Monitor time and attendance and ensure schedule accuracy
  • Coordinate with leadership to ensure proper coverage for all shifts
  • Communicate schedule updates clearly and in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with staffing ratios, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with onboarding scheduling and training coordination
  • Maintain scheduling systems and related documentation
  • Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, or healthcare administration preferred
  • Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior living strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment
  • Proficiency with scheduling software or electronic systems a plus
