This role sits within a dynamic platform security environment focused on strengthening enterprise-wide information security posture and ensuring strong operational controls across critical systems and vendors. The position plays a key part in monitoring security events, responding to alerts, and supporting incident detection and remediation activities through SIEM tools. You will contribute to security awareness initiatives, coordinate training efforts, and help manage responses to client security questionnaires. The role also involves tracking and assessing the security posture of key third-party vendors to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. Working closely with senior security leadership and cross-functional teams, you will support ongoing security projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role that requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive security mindset in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Monitor, investigate, and remediate security alerts and incidents using SIEM and other security monitoring tools
  • Support incident response activities and ensure timely documentation and escalation of security events
  • Assist in responding to client security questionnaires and audits with accurate and consistent information
  • Coordinate and support organization-wide security awareness and training initiatives
  • Track, assess, and report on the security posture of third-party vendors and mission-critical technology partners
  • Contribute to ongoing security projects, including process improvements and control enhancements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of security activities, incidents, and compliance-related records
  • Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience in information security, SOC operations, or a similar cybersecurity role
    • Strong understanding of security principles, incident response, and vulnerability management concepts
    • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring systems
    • Familiarity with security frameworks, risk management, and vendor security assessment practices
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for reporting and stakeholder interaction
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field preferred
