The Embedded Security Manager will serve as the on-site Security Manager for a period of six (6) months, working closely with our client's management team to strengthen the overall security posture of their facility. The role is delivery-focused, addressing immediate security priorities while establishing a robust and sustainable security framework, including supporting the recruitment and onboarding of security personnel. Key criteria and responsibilities of the role will include:

Security management

Developing, updating, and obtaining approval for critical security operational documents:

  • Security policy.
  • Security management plan.
  • Emergency management plan.
  • Standard operating procedures for health, safety and security (HSS).
  • Consolidating operational reports for weekly reports to the Operations Manager on the state of security.
  • Facilitating the integration of physical security infrastructure based on foundational principles of physical security: deter, detect, delay, respond, and recover.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance metrics.
  • Provide oversight and quality control over guard force operations and supervisory functions.

Risk management and compliance

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of facilities and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations.
  • Deliver security and safety workshops with staff.
  • Engage security service providers (e.g. nature and scope of service level agreements).
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services.


Requirements

  • At least 10+ years in security operations.
  • PSiRA registered Grade A/B
  • At least 5+ years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience in rural, agricultural, or estate security.
  • Experience interacting with high‑profile or international guests.
  • Experience managing 24/7 security operations, including shift planning and VIP protection.
  • Technical knowledge of security infrastructure capabilities to support budget and purchase processes, while ensuring the maximal use of existing capabilities.
  • Experience working in or with law enforcement and emergency services.
