About the Role

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the company’s financial reporting. This position will own key accounting processes end-to-end, support month-end close, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial operations. You will also support core financial operations - including billing, revenue processes, and adherence to GAAP - ensuring the company maintains a high standard of financial discipline. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and detailed variance analyses.
  • Own critical balance sheet and P&L areas, such as revenue, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, or payroll accounting.
  • Support annual financial statement audits, tax filings, and compliance deliverables.
  • Partner with FP&A, Operations, and other teams to ensure financial information is complete, accurate, and consistent.
  • Identify opportunities to automate or streamline accounting processes and drive operational excellence.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred.
  • 4–6+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and private industry.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, billing processes, and accounting operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Maxio (or comparable system) for revenue, billing, or subscription management is required.
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets skills; experience with modern ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
