Senior Accountant
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes and MD&A disclosures of SEC filings (10Q & 10K)
- Adhere to accounting pronouncements (GAAP) & SEC requirements.
- Monitor, interpret and implement appropriate changes and new pronouncements issued by accounting regulators.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial statements & footnotes.
- Assist with all aspects of SEC reporting including disclosure checklist, data gathering, processing and control, and document filings.
- Perform analysis on various balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Assist with technical research and documentation of company positions on accounting issues, the impact of new accounting standards and SEC reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred, or parts passed
- 2+ years public accounting or corporate internal audit experience
- SEC experience/exposure
- Advanced Excel Skills
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
