Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Resident Engineer in early construction planning, including constructability reviews, material availability assessments, and initial site investigations with contractors.
- Provide construction-related input for Project Procedures and the Project Quality Plan.
- Develop site infrastructure requirements, prepare field staffing schedules, job descriptions, and construction equipment analyses.
- Mobilize to site in advance of construction to supervise the implementation of temporary facilities and essential services (communications, housing, medical, transportation, and equipment).
- Establish and manage field operations in alignment with project contracts and HanmiGlobal standards.
- Lead on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project objectives in time, quality, and cost.
- Conduct weekly progress meetings and technical meetings to review advancement and address on-site issues.
- Work with the Senior Resident Engineer to ensure adequate staffing for Field Control/Report systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Review contractor progress and completion reports.
- Support evaluation and discussion of contractor claims.
- Review contractor valuations (payments).
- Prepare project close-out reports upon handover.
- Fulfill any additional duties outlined in the Construction Division Manual.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 10–12 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical understanding of construction processes and architectural design.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
