Role- Senior Engineer - SSD Software

Experience- 5 to 10 years

Salary- 12 LPA to 22 LPA

Location- Bangalore & Hyderabad

Types of Disability- Locomotor disability, Low vision up to 50%, Hard of hearing up to 50%

UDID Card is mandatory

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Evaluate, develop, and debug complex test methods
• Design and develop test automation frameworks to expand test coverage and failure prediction
• Design and develop test cases for new features on Client & Enterprise SSD programs
• Analyze customer issues with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities
• Use your strong scripting language skills for automating tests and shortening qualification cycles
• Enhance, develop, and execute test scripts on host systems to uncover drive hardware and firmware/ host issues with SSDs

Qualifications

• Proficiency programming with C / C++ / Python
• Ability to understand and debug interface protocols (SATA, SAS, NVMe)
• GUI, CLI tools test execution and automation experience
• Understanding of Windows and UNIX / Linux server storage environments
• Triage/ debug of issues found during test execution
• A high level of self-motivation, and dedication to find creative solutions to difficult problems
• The ability to work well on a team based in different worldwide locations
• The ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Manual and Automation test execution, preferably in Storage area on Windows & Linux OS
• 5+ years of experience in test framework development using Python
