Senior Financial Analyst

Fortune 500 Logistics Company

• Contribute to preparation of Weekly Management Dashboard report and Monthly business review, working with Operations, Commercial and other internal teams to obtain, validate and improve their input, making sure key messages are clearly conveyed to senior management and company owners.
• Assist in preparing weekly P&L Forecast, preparing all supporting schedules enabling comparison with budget, forecast and last year, working with FP&A team to provide insight on weekly business activity and main variances.
• Develop / prepare monthly reporting and forecasting for SG&A expenses, providing department insight on their monthly spend and variances compared to budget and previous year, working with internal teams on their monthly forecast.
• Assist in making enhancements to Hyperion application: working with FP&A team to input revenue by customer and operational details.
• Become proficient in using and administering Hyperion, Smartview and Financial Reporting Studios software to build and design new standardized reports for monthly operational and customer profitability reporting

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance. An MBA, CPA or other financial certification is preferred.
• A minimum of three years analytical or related business experience required.
• Must have proven competence in data mining, analysis, and modeling capabilities, expertise in Excel (including Pivot tables and V-lookups) and strong PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of Hyperion would be a plus.
• Must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to the ability to think creatively.

$75K to $90K plus Bonus
