What You'll Be Doing
- Design and build customer-facing features in React/Next.js for 1M+ monthly visitors
- Own the marketing and analytics integration layer (pixels, GTM, Klaviyo) to support tracking at scale
- Lead technical decisions on frontend architecture, performance, and code quality
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing
- Break down complex features into clear, scoped tasks and own delivery end to end
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and marketing to shape requirements
- Champion best practices: testing, accessibility, CI/CD, and documentation
- Improve, and manage site speed performance
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years building production React applications, with strong opinions on state management, component architecture, and performance
- Track record of shipping pixel-perfect, responsive UIs across mobile and desktop
- Experience with Next JS, Shopify, Shopify Headless, Klaviyo, Typescript (or HTML or email development)
- Experience leading or mentoring other developers
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working autonomously: scoping problems, proposing solutions, and driving them to completion
- Familiarity with headless CMS architecture (Sanity, Contentful, or similar)
