Ideal Profile

Network Engineering Expertise

• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or network support roles, ideally within an MSP, systems integrator, or technology partner environment
• Strong networking knowledge across routing and switching, wireless networking, SD-WAN, and security technologies
• Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, particularly Cisco Meraki and Catalyst solutions
• Equivalent technical knowledge to CCNP or JNCIP certification standards

Automation & Emerging Technologies

• Exposure to network automation technologies such as Python, Ansible, REST APIs, Terraform, or Git
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and automation-first operational models
• Experience using AI-assisted tools and workflows is advantageous
• Exposure to voice networking technologies is beneficial

Certifications (Advantageous)

• Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, DevNet Associate, or equivalent

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage priorities in a remote environment
• Practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Comfortable operating in evolving environments with changing priorities
• Collaborative approach with proactive communication and knowledge sharing

Responsibilities

• Deliver network and security projects across Cisco technologies, including Meraki and Catalyst environments
• Design, implement, and support routing and switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and security solutions
• Monitor support queues and manage incidents through to successful resolution
• Troubleshoot customer network environments and provide ongoing operational support
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and service delivery
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational standards
• Utilise AI tools to improve productivity and support daily technical workflows
• Contribute to automation initiatives, API integrations, tooling enhancements, and workflow improvements
• Develop reusable technical documentation for both customers and internal teams
• Support maintenance activities and project delivery requirements as needed
