Your Role in Our Mission:
At Enveda, every role drives impact. As a Senior Research Associate, Analytical Chemistry, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering hope to patients everywhere. Your expertise in analytical chemistry will be critical in accelerating our mission to drive analytical excellence and innovation, because every breakthrough starts with bold questions and brave actions.

What You’ll Do :

  • Execute purification and analytical strategies to support medicinal chemistry and drug discovery programs.
  • Perform hands-on purification of small molecules using Prep HPLC systems with efficient turnaround for SAR support.
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot preparative and analytical methods for compound purification, purity assessment, and characterization.
  • Analyse purification fractions using LC-MS/HPLC and ensure accurate fraction pooling and purity confirmation.
  • Perform hands-on operation of analytical instruments including HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, Prep HPLC, and NMR (value addition).
  • Support analytical problem-solving and interpretation of chromatographic and spectroscopic data.
  • Collaborate closely with Medicinal Chemistry teams to provide timely purification and analytical support for discovery projects.
  • Monitor Prep HPLC systems, analytical instruments, and column performance through routine checks and performance tracking.
  • Ensure instrument and column health through preventive maintenance, proper washing/regeneration, storage, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain analytical and purification documentation including purification logs, calibration records, instrument records, analytical reports, and SOPs.
  • Support inventory and stock management for columns, solvents, chemicals, buffers, and laboratory consumables to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Contribute to workflow optimization initiatives to improve purification efficiency, turnaround time, and laboratory productivity.
  • We’re Looking For:

  • MSc or M Pharm degree with 4–7 years of relevant industrial experience in pharmaceutical, CRO, or drug discovery settings, with strong expertise in Prep HPLC purification for small molecules.
  • Hands-on experience in reverse-phase and chiral preparative purification workflows, including purification strategy development, method optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Good working knowledge of analytical techniques including HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, Chiral HPLC, and basic NMR analysis for compound characterization and purity assessment.
  • Strong understanding of chromatographic data interpretation, instrument maintenance, column care, solvent management, and laboratory best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple purification requests in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality data delivery within aggressive project timelines.
