We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Platform Developer with operational leadership experience to join a team responsible for maintaining and evolving a large-scale ServiceNow platform supporting business-critical processes and services.

In this role, you will combine hands-on development with team coordination and operational leadership. You will work closely with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to ensure the platform remains scalable, stable, and aligned with business needs while driving continuous improvements and long-term platform evolution.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow platform functionality, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, ACLs, and integrations

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and scalable solutions

Participate in workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand business needs and identify opportunities for improvement

Contribute to architecture discussions and support the design of sustainable long-term solutions

Plan, coordinate, and prioritize operational and development activities within the team

Support roadmap planning and platform evolution initiatives

Drive platform governance, quality improvements, troubleshooting, and incident management activities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and platform adoption

Act as a technical mentor and provide guidance to colleagues across the ServiceNow ecosystem

Support platform areas such as CMDB, CSDM, Employee Center, integrations, and analytics capabilities

Required Qualifications

Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience

Extensive experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform

Strong JavaScript development skills

Hands-on experience with CSDM and CMDB

Broad experience working with integrations and connected enterprise systems

Experience facilitating workshops and collaborating with business stakeholders

Experience working with platform management, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident handling

Experience performing ServiceNow upgrades and platform lifecycle management

Experience implementing ServiceNow platforms, modules, or large-scale enhancements

Experience leading teams or coordinating operational activities in a technical environment

Experience working in agile development environments

Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Preferred Experience

Experience working with on-premises or self-hosted ServiceNow environments

ServiceNow certifications such as:

Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

Experience with Employee Center, Platform Analytics, Performance Analytics, or other ServiceNow platform capabilities

Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), or related ServiceNow modules
