Senior Site Reliability Engineer (GDL-CDMX)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and optimize capacity across hybrid infrastructure (VMware and public cloud).
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of enterprise platforms.
• Implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications.
• Analyze capacity trends and provide forecasting for infrastructure growth and cloud consumption (FinOps).
• Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, Cloud, Networking, and Application teams to support new initiatives.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and drive infrastructure optimization strategies.
• Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Support Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and cloud-native environments.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues.
• Produce capacity planning, utilization, and executive reporting to support business decisions.

Must Have

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi, HA, DRS, vSAN).
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP in hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong Linux administration and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or Zabbix.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or PowerCLI for automation.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls).
• Experience performing capacity planning, performance analysis, and root cause analysis.
• English proficiency for technical documentation and communication.

• AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Cloud FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience with VMware Aria Operations (vRealize Operations).
• Background in Disaster Recovery (DR), Backup, and Business Continuity.
• Experience with performance and load testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of predictive analytics tools (Power BI, Excel, Python, Scikit-learn, Prophet).
• Experience with serverless or cloud-native architectures.
• VMware, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps certifications.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve operational efficiency, automation, and troubleshooting.
