About this role
Reapit – Who are we?
Reapit is the original, end-to-end business technology provider for estate agencies of all sizes. We’ve been helping sales and lettings agents to build relationships and grow their businesses for more than 25 years. Our technology connects property professionals in Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand with buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords to power the relationships that change lives.
In Australia, Reapit stands as the preferred technology choice among the nation's leading estate agents and agencies. Tailored to the unique demands of the Australian property market, Reapit provides successful leaders with unparalleled tools across sales, property management, client relations, and data analytics, reinforcing their position at the pinnacle of real estate excellence.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Global Head of Data and AI you’ll be involved in:
Acting as Reapit’s internal advocate and hands-on expert for agentic AI development, helping R&D get the very best out of Claude and our wider AI toolchain across the whole software development lifecycle.
Operating as a global role, working cross-regionally and across disciplines to drive standardisation, up-skilling and practical AI adoption in product, engineering, QA, DevOps and Design.
In this capacity, your responsibilities will include:
Tooling and standardisation: driving a single, consistent, centralised AI toolchain for developers, replacing today’s fragmented per-project setups, ad-hoc MCP servers and skills with a coherent, well-documented standard that delivers more deterministic outcomes.
Defining and maintaining shared configuration, MCP servers, skills, CLAUDE.md discipline and managed settings as reusable, blessed defaults that teams can adopt out of the box.
Learning and development: running enablement workshops, working groups and guilds that advocate for best practice and up-skill colleagues in AI-driven workflows across R&D.
Producing practical guidance, playbooks and worked examples that help teams adopt AI with confidence and self-serve going forward.
Prototyping and deep dives: working hands-on with teams to solve real-world problems using AI, including squashing technical debt, migrating platforms, optimising design, and building product workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Managing cost aligned with our AI budget - advocating for innovative ways to get the best out of the tools, whilst balancing against individual token allowances.
Embedding AI across the SDLC in coding, testing, review, debugging and documentation, demonstrating credible, repeatable patterns that teams can take forward themselves.
Identifying friction points and opportunities in current engineering workflows, and supporting the rollout of new AI tools, techniques and approaches into the engineering community.
Defining and tracking meaningful success measures such as adoption signals, developer-experience indicators and quality outcomes, ensuring adoption is evidence-based and tied to engineering goals.
Building close working relationships with the VP of Engineering, Engineering Directors and Heads of Product to align AI enablement with regional and global priorities.
Promoting the Reapit Global Technology Strategy and ensuring AI tooling and usage align with our Security, Architecture and DevOps standards and appropriate governance.
Who we're looking for
At Reapit, we prioritise hiring individuals who share our values and possess the right attitudes and behaviours for success. Whilst some of the listed requirements may be important, don’t worry if you don’t meet all of them, we’d still like to hear from you.
A technically strong engineer operating at around Senior Staff level, comfortable working across the stack from cloud infrastructure to front end and hands-on in the code.
A credible track record of using Claude and other AI tools to drive agentic development and improvements across the SDLC, in more than one discipline.
Excellent softer skills: collaborative, articulate and able to run a room, comfortable leading workshops, guilds and working groups and influencing across functions.
A natural advocate and enabler, with a genuine interest in up-skilling others and helping teams become self-sufficient rather than dependent.
Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to engineers, product partners and senior stakeholders alike.
Hands-on experience with AI tooling in real engineering environments, including copilots, assistants and workflow-integrated capabilities, MCP servers and skills.
Pragmatic and outcome-driven, able to assess tools and approaches on evidence, practicality and impact, and comfortable working across ambiguity and change.
Past experience of managing spend against budget, either in AI tooling or another discipline like cloud technology.
Able to work effectively cross-regionally across time zones in a genuinely global role.
Good working knowledge of the Reapit platform estate and Global Technology Strategy, or the ability to build it quickly
What your impact and success looks like
We expect your success and impact in the early stages of your career with us to look something like this:

Run your first enablement sessions and begun establishing yourself as the go-to internal advocate for agentic AI development.
Delivered one or more hands-on deep dives on real problems such as tech debt, platform migration or CI/CD, leaving teams able to self-serve.
Within 3 months:
Defined and begun rolling out a centralised, standardised AI toolchain with blessed defaults that teams can adopt out of the box.
Established a regular cadence of workshops, working groups or guilds, with measurable up-skilling across multiple disciplines.
Within 6 months:
Driven meaningful, evidence-based adoption of a consistent AI toolchain across regions, with clear improvements in determinism and developer experience.
Embedded a thriving enablement culture, with guilds and working groups running and best practice spreading across product, engineering, QA, DevOps and Design.
Become the recognised, credible internal authority on getting the best out of Claude and AI-driven workflows, demonstrably accelerating delivery across the SDLC.
We operate a Flexible Working Policy however, the inter-personal nature of this role will mean some face-to-face time with teams in an office scenario as required.
