(Senior/Associate) Director - Subject Matter Expert Oncology (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for an experienced scientific leader to join the team in Planeqq as Subject Matter Expert Oncology (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

• Scientific Leadership: Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for in vivo oncology pharmacology.
• Business Development Support: Identify and shape new project opportunities to support business growth.
• Client Interface: Serve as the primary scientific contact for European clients.
• Strategic Consulting: Understand client needs and provide expert guidance to develop tailored scientific solutions for oncology drug discovery projects.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal and global scientific teams to stay aligned on capabilities and technological advancements.
• Proposal Development: Translate complex client requirements into detailed scientific proposals and responses to RFPs.
• Communication: Prepare and deliver high-level scientific presentations and lead technical discussions, ensuring clear communication of complex concepts.
• Advocacy: Represent the company at scientific conferences and industry events.
• Market Insight: Gather industry and client insights to support the development of new services and innovation.

Qualifikation

• Education: PhD or MD in Oncology, Pharmacology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 8 years of professional experience in oncology research and drug development.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in in vivo pharmacology models and a deep understanding of the oncology drug discovery process (from target validation to preclinical development).
• Professional Background: Proven experience in client-facing or advisory roles within a CRO, pharma, or biotech environment.
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, combined with high initiative, organizational talent, and adaptability.
• Language: Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
• Mobility: Willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally internationally.
