AI Summary

The Showroom Manager leads a small team in Moebelkompagniet’s new Berlin showroom, driving sales, customer experience, and daily operations.

About this role

Are you driven by creating great customer experiences and leading a small, passionate team? Then you might be the one we’re looking for as our new Showroom Manager.

Our journey began in Denmark in 2016, and we’re proud to now open our third showroom in Germany – right here in Berlin. Moebelkompagniet is a furniture company built on passion, honesty, and a strong customer focus. We aim to offer furniture we would proudly own ourselves—at a price point that’s accessible for most people. As part of our continued growth, we are now looking for a Showroom Manager to help lead our exciting next chapter.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Advising and selling to our customers and visitors in the showroom

  • Driving the showroom’s sales performance and KPIs

  • Recruiting and onboarding new team members

  • Training and developing staff in sales and service

  • Conducting regular check-ins and well-being talks

  • Creating and managing staff schedules

  • Planning and coordinating in-store events

  • Ensuring showroom standards match our brand at all times

As our Showroom Manager, you’ll set the tone for a great customer experience while always keeping an eye on sales and performance. You will lead by example, making sure our customers are welcomed by a helpful team and inspiring surroundings. Since the space is still being prepared for opening, you will have the opportunity to take part in shaping your new workplace from day one.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in retail or showroom sales

  • Experience as a store manager or team lead

  • Strong organizational and planning skills

  • Ability to step in and support your team when needed

  • Fluency in German and English (Danish is a plus)

We Expect You To
  • Thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment

  • Ideally have experience in furniture sales (not required)

  • Lead with empathy and a focus on individual needs

  • Delegate tasks clearly and follow up on progress

We Offer
  • An exciting chance to be part of something from the start

  • Supportive colleagues who value a positive atmosphere

  • 37 working hours per week

  • A good lunch arrangement and tasty snacks

  • Friendly, returning customers

  • Social staff events and gatherings throughout the year

  • A role with responsibility and room for growth

Practical Information

We expect the showroom to open in October and will be recruiting during the next couple of months, making sure we find the right fit for the position. Shifts will typically fall between 10 AM and 6 PM, Monday to Saturday. You should be available every second weekend (e.g. 10 AM–6 PM).

We will be conducting interviews on an ongoing basis, so please submit your application as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the position, feel free to contact our Chief Customer Experience Officer, Marie‑Louise Kragelund, at +45 53 65 51 30.

We look forward to receiving your CV and cover letter.
