Site Superintendent

The Role

We are seeking aSite Superintendentto join Akash Homes inCalgary, Alberta.

This role oversees residential construction projects from excavation through possession while coordinating trades, suppliers and inspections to ensure homes are built safely, efficiently and to the quality standards Akash Homes is known for.

The Opportunity

As Akash Homes continues to expand in the Calgary market, the Site Superintendent plays a critical role in delivering homes that meet our schedule and quality commitments. You will manage multiple construction sites, coordinate trades and inspections, and ensure every home progresses efficiently from start to finish.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the continued growth of Akash Homes while developing your own leadership and constructionexpertise.

Top 3 Priorities for Your First 6 Months

1. Successfully manage active builds across Calgary communities whilemaintainingschedule and quality standards.

1. Establish strong relationships with Calgary trade partners and suppliers.

1. Identifyopportunities to improve site coordination and communication between field and office teams.

WhatYou’llOwn

• Manage the full residential construction process from excavation through possession.

• Coordinate trades,inspectionsand suppliers tomaintainconstruction schedules.

• Ensure worksitescomply withAlberta Building Code and OH&S requirements.

• Conduct site walkthroughs and address deficiencies proactively.

• Complete homeowner walkthroughs and manage seasonal orpost possessionrepairs.

• Collaborate with Drafting, Estimating,Salesand Customer Experience teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Maintain organized,safeand professional construction sites across all assigned builds.

WhatYou’llBring

• Experience supervising residential construction sites.

• Strong understanding of Alberta Building Code and homebuilding practices.

• Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.

• Strong communicationand relationship building skills with trades,inspectorsand internal teams.

• Problem solving mindset and ability to resolve issues quickly on site.

• Valid driver’slicenseand reliable vehicle for travel between Calgary construction sites.

• The following would be considered an asset:

• Construction Management or Building Science education.

• Experience working with construction scheduling or project management software such asBuildPro.
