Qualifications
- Bachelor of interior design, construction management or engineering
- Experience in interior construction or related field of at least 7 years
- Minimum 10 years experience in general or administration management

- Ability to meet timelines and work under time pressure

Responsibilities:
A
Project Setup
- Assist designers or other staff for site measurement and obtain additional relevant information of the existing building design
- Attend internal meetings with the M&E designer and project designers for project planning
- Request a copy the of building plan and fitout guide from the Marketing Manager
- Confirm working hours for building construction
- Organize internal site meetings with dwp staff each morning to summarize any problems and find solutions
- Review the fitout guide from the building owner
B Project Costing
- Maintain constant control of turnkey project costs with regular reviews and update budget / variations with quantity surveyor as when they are instructed / confirmed by client
- Monitoring and managing site work follow the priced Variation Requests to Client and obtain sign-off / do not permit additional works to be undertaken without Client signed Variation Request.

Project Management
- Request all subcontractors and suppliers to submit a list of workers on the site for the building management
- Coordinate with the project designers to revise drawing for variations and construction and send to suppliers or subcontractors to prepare BOQ & quotations (if any cost). Submit variation costs to the client for approval. (form)
- Prepare project documents, file correspondence with client’s, supplier, sub-contractors/and building manager
- Set the objective of all tasks needed to start and complete the project
- Prepare schedule of logistics for the project to submit to the building management
- Prepare documents for any statutory requirements of the project including those of other consultants
- Monitoring and report to Project Director for any additional requirement of the resources, assigns responsibilities, set deadlines, costs and contingency plans
- Inform finance & accounting department about applications for refund of the guarantee and deposit from the building Management
- Attend internal meetings with the interior designer and M&E consultant to clarify details of the design including any issues related to technical aspects and practicality of drawings before starting on site
- Report to Project Manager to coordinate with dwp finance department to arrange building deposits and prepare a review and other charges by the building
- Prepare weekly reports for the client including the date of practical completion of construction at the site review delivery times of furniture and equipment. Use Microsoft Project
- Coordinate with the building management and request access to passenger & service lifts
- Inspect and implement quality control for all of M&E and interior construction works on site for the period of the project
- Attend a formal hand over of the site from the building management and take minutes of meeting and record site conditions
- Supervise the site to inspect the construction and furniture installation, ensure compliance with the design specifications
- Attend the meeting organized by the site coordinator with other internal departments concerned to evaluate the success of the project and suggest process improvements and control for the future projects
- Attend all major meetings with the client and collect any additional requirements, in accordance with contract documents including additional work, variation and cancellation of works
- Verify and accept quantity and quality M&E work, furniture and construction works by issuing certificates of payment (COP) for payment to subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare a daily report for the project director to monitor progress and quality of work and any problems on site. Determine that the work is proceeding in accordance with contract documents
- Maintain a register of materials brought to the site, control their quantities and discrepancies (sign the necessary acknowledgement receipts, supplier and subcontractor documents)
- Prepare final programme of logistics including material of interior construction, furniture built – in, loose furniture and M&E works for the building
- Hand over the works from subcontractors and suppliers
- verify the practical completion and final defect list with date of completion and report to project manager to provide to finance & accounting department in order to bill the client
- Record all change of orders in the register
- Monitoring and control the quality and quantity of materials and furnitures for works completion including M&E testing
- Consolidate final as-built drawing documentation to submit to client
- Coordinate with the designer to clarify details of the design relating to drawing modification, technical specifications and others related documents issued to the contractors and suppliers
- Coordinate with the designer, suppliers and subcontractors to prepare the fitout manual, warranty period of materials, furniture and mechanical. Submit to the client
- Attend site meetings as necessary
- Prepare schedules, charts, reports and cost summaries necessary for the orderly administration of the project for the client’s review and approval. Set & check the project structure & master schedule
