Software Developer & IT Systems Support Specialist (Insurance Sector) (PRSD0626)

PRIORITY, one of the largest and fastest growing Management and IT consulting firms in Greece, is currently seeking to hire a Software Developer & IT Systems Support Specialist on behalf of one of our clients in the insurance industry.

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to support, develop, and enhance their business applications and information systems. The role combines software development, user support, system maintenance, and participation in IT infrastructure and security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for business applications and end users.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications and information systems.
• Participate in system integrations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
• Support backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Contribute to information security, user access management, and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues while ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development and IT systems support.
• Strong experience with:
• C#, .NET Framework, VB.NET, Visual Basic 6
• ASP.NET, MVC/MVVM, Web Forms, Windows Forms
• HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
• Microsoft SQL Server, database design, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
• Web Services and system integrations
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP, WCF, CSS, and Sencha Touch is desirable.
• Master's Degree and/or relevant certifications will be considered an asset.
