Software Engineer - Network Management Systems

The successful candidate will be **based in our Athens'headquarters or in our subsidiaries in Patras or Thessaloniki **,and be involved in the design, development and support of our Network Management System software – managing our innovative packet microwave and millimeter-wave radio systems - used in front-haul and mobile backhaul transport of 5G networks, as well as in Fixed Wireless Access broadband systems.

Requirements

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/ Informatics or Computer Science
• Very good knowledge of Object-Oriented programming
• Very good knowledge of JAVA, SQL.
• Fluency in English

Any or more of the following skills are desired

• Experience with RDBMS like PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle.
• Good working knowledge of Linux
• Basic knowledge in Telecommunications / Networking
• Knowledge of Kubernetes Container Orchestration Platform and Microservices Architecture
• Knowledge of Version Control (GIT)
• Knowledge in software engineering tools (e.g. Eclipse, Apache Ant, Maven)
• Knowledge of Web Development (e.g. Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap)
• Knowledge of Wildfly Application Server
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development, Selenium, Test Frameworks, Python
