Software Engineer - Python

Devsinc is seeking a talented Software Engineer - Python to join our dynamic development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Python applications to meet business needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build robust backend services and APIs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python code for web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot issues and debug complex software problems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure continuous improvement.
• Contribute to documentation of software features and development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Python development, preferably in backend or full-stack roles.
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
• Good understanding of software design principles and best coding practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
