The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor to join our market‑leading Resource Management, Environment & Infrastructure (RMA) team in Auckland.
You will work alongside highly experienced practitioners, led by partners Jennifer Caldwell and Vanessa Evitt gaining exposure to a broad range of litigation, project, and advisory matters. You’ll be involved in high-profile development and infrastructure projects, complex environmental disputes, and strategic advisory work for a diverse range of clients - including corporates, government agencies, and community groups.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in, and is passionate about RMA and environmental law, and who is looking to build their career in a top-tier firm.
About the team
We have one of New Zealand’s leading resource management and environmental law practices, with specialist teams across all three of our offices. We are known for working effectively with clients, consultants, and the wider community to deliver practical, outcome-focused solutions.
Our Auckland team primarily
advises on large-scale infrastructure and development projects, statutory planning and fast-track consenting processes.
About you
We’re particularly interested in people who are motivated to develop their expertise in this area and who enjoy working on complex, impactful projects. You may bring:
- Experience and a strong interest in resource management, environmental or public law
- 3-6 years of legal experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
- A team-oriented approach and willingness to contribute to a positive working environment
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
