The Solution Architect is responsible to apply specialized knowledge in a solution development discipline to conceptualize, design, construct, test, implement and optimize systems that enable and support business functions

Responsibilities | CORE

Solution Delivery

• Ability to develop detail architectural documents to deliver business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentation, conducting Proof-of-Concept to showcase its technical feasibility when necessary
• Propose the technical solution and selection of technologies and estimate resources required to develop the proposed solution to meet our customer's requirements
• Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit and risk where multiple solutions exist 
• Highlight the positive impact of NCS solutions to help them achieve customer’s business goals
• Working alongside network and systems engineers to guide projects from presales/design to final delivery

Business Development

• Be involved in pre-sale activities
• Review technical solution and estimated resources prepared by proposal team
• Ability to translating complex technical network and system specifications into business-value outcomes for executives and customers

 

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Typically, 10 years of hands-on experience with Network and System Integration (SI) projects
• Proficiency in bridging local data centre with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Intensive experience in the analysis, design, implementation and support of medium to large complex applications
• Candidates with experience in following will be highly regarded
  • Virtualization technologies
  • SD-WAN, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and next-generation Firewall
  •  Information Security Management System (ISMS)

• The ability to understand overarching business objectives and translate them into actionable, non-technical language for stakeholders while providing clear technical specifications for development teams
• A broad foundation across software design, cloud computing, and infrastructure rather than being limited to a single technology stack

• Strong interpersonal skills to build consensus among various parties, handle negotiations, and confidently set architectural boundaries.

Professional and/or Technical Certifications (Prefer any of the following)

• Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
