About You

As Specialist for Watches, you will play a pivotal role in assembling, managing, and executing auctions. Especially in sourcing high-quality consignments and engaging clients to buy and sell timepieces. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships and driving sales growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the market trends and development.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Able to do on-spot valuation of client’s collection and actively bring in new consignments
  • Foster good relations with trade and professional bodies to assist with the advancement of the department
  • Bring in new collectors and trades to develop the database of important buyers and vendors
  • Actively participate in Watches/Auction events, and other functions related to our business
  • Work with local and overseas teams on strategies to encourage new business opportunities
  • Liaise with others on advertising and marketing campaign
  • Catalogue watches sales, and assist with preparation of the catalogues on a timely basis to meet deadlines
  • Assist on exhibition events, including HK or worldwide
  • Promote the department through digital platforms, lectures and/or other promotional events
  • Support the Head of Department in managing the departmental budgets and effectively use the expenditure to maximize department benefits


Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in the specialty field and/or in the auction industry.
  • Relationships with established dealers and collectors in the field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and networking skills.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized individual.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet strict scheduled deadlines.
  • Familiar with MS application, able to work within our business enterprise software.
  • Ability to travel as necessary to achieve goals
