Position Overview

  • Location: Canon City, CO

  • Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

  • Schedule:

    • Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekends!)
    • Part-Time: Flexible scheduling, including weekends if desired
  • Pay: $42 – $45 per hour (based on experience)

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and create personalized care plans
  • Deliver therapy to address speech, swallowing, and cognitive disorders
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
  • Supervise CFYs and support personnel per regulations
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Medicare/HIPAA standards
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Colorado State SLP license
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
  • CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow eligibility
  • SNF/geriatric experience preferred
  • Strong skills in dysphagia management and cognitive-communication therapy
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational abilities
