About this role

Build the backbone. Own the identity layer. Help us ship with confidence.

The hardest part of building a great product platform isn't writing the code. It's making it reliable for everyone who depends on it, and staying ahead of problems before they become incidents.

At Simployer, our Suite Services & Tooling team owns identity, backoffice, and the integrations that connect everything. Auth0, SAML, OIDC, enterprise SSO, and the AlexisHR identity services on GCP. Other teams build on top of what we maintain, so getting it right really matters.

Your mission

Make the platform invisible in the best way possible. Identity just works. Integrations hold. Other teams ship without hitting walls.

You'll take ownership of meaningful platform work: building and maintaining identity services, driving stability improvements, and being a go-to resource for other teams through good documentation, not just Slack messages.

You'll also play an active role in cross-team initiatives, spotting integration gaps, proposing improvements, and shaping how shared platform capabilities evolve across Simployer.

You will thrive here if…

  • You genuinely understand auth. Not just the buzzwords, but can reason through OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML flows and debug real problems

  • You have hands-on experience with an identity platform (Auth0, Azure AD, Okta, or similar)

  • You're a solid backend engineer. Node.js/TypeScript is what we work in, but a strong developer in any web-focused language gets there fast

  • You use AI tools in your daily workflow

  • You can communicate clearly with non-engineers and write documentation that sticks

Tech that you´ll be working with: Terraform, Azure or GCP, Azure DevOps/TeamCity, .NET/C#, SCIM provisioning, n8n or workflow automation.

This is a senior role, but if you feel it's a good fit, strong IAM experience carries more weight than total years, go ahead and apply!

A message from the hiring manager:

"We sit at the centre of how the product works, identity, backoffice, and the integrations that connect our systems to everything around them. Other teams build on what we own, and that gives the work real weight.

We're a small team with a wide domain, and I'm looking for someone who's comfortable with that, who can pick up a problem, figure it out, and take it somewhere without being managed through every step.

If that sounds like you, I'd like to talk." - Jakub Przybylski, Engineering Manager, Suite Services & Tooling
