Accountabilities:

  • Lead pricing and packaging strategy across assigned software product areas, ensuring alignment with overall business and revenue objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and customer segmentation to inform pricing decisions and monetization models.
  • Develop, evaluate, and maintain pricing frameworks, including usage-based and cloud-oriented pricing structures.
  • Build financial and analytical models to assess pricing impact on profitability, customer adoption, and retention.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards and support audit-ready documentation of pricing decisions.
  • Present pricing recommendations and strategy updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional experts to align on pricing proposals and drive consensus for implementation.
  • Requirements:

    • 8+ years of experience in SaaS or software pricing strategy, or equivalent transferable analytical experience.
    • Strong expertise in usage-based and cloud pricing models, with experience in monetization strategy development.
    • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, including experience handling large datasets and complex business cases.
    • Proficiency with analytical tools such as Tableau, R, Python, Alteryx, SAS Visual Analytics, and advanced Excel.
    • Strong understanding of trade-offs between customer acquisition, retention, expansion, and margin optimization.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management capabilities with attention to detail and decision-making strength.
