Priory Melton Place has an opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join our team who is qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week.
Priory Melton Place, in Melton Mowbray, is a community-facing facility, which provides an alternative to a hospital setting, whilst still having the expertise to support those with complex and enduring mental health needs.
Our new specialist residential mental health service provides 24 hour nursing care for males and females aged 18 years and above, who may also have a secondary diagnosis of a learning disability.

- Deliver high-quality, person-centred mental health care
- Assess, plan and review individualised care for patient
- Administer medication and maintain accurate clinical record
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support recover
- Promote a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, visitors and colleagues.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Essential for the role
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.
- Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality nursing practice.
The following experience would be beneficial
- Previous experience in a mental health or learning disabilities setting
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and safeguarding practices.
